Hungary to produce Chinese Sinopharm vaccines!
Hungary greatly profits from and seeks to continue pragmatic cooperation based on mutual trust with China, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Thursday after a videoconference with counterpart Wang Yi.
Szijjártó told Wang that in recent weeks he had attended events announcing Chinese investment and ground-breaking ceremonies worth over 90 billion forints (EUR 245m), the ministry said. China was the largest investor in Hungary last year and came second after South Korea this year, he added.

and noted that when China was in trouble during the first phase of the coronavirus pandemic, Hungary came to its help. During the third wave, Budapest could rely on Beijing on the fast supply of vaccines, he added.
Szijjártó said cooperation would continue concerning vaccines, with China having expressed willingness to negotiate on the production of Sinopharm vaccine in Hungary based on a licence. The government is willing to make available Hungary’s experiences gained during the use of the Chinese vaccine if this is necessary in the licensing process of the vaccine by the European Medicines Agency, Szijjártó said.

Yeah but will they work. That’s why the covid numbers are so high here. They’ve sold the government nothing more than a placebo. China’s getting their feet under the table very nicely.
Victorinu the Beggar, the autocrat who claims to be anti-communist, is turning his country, which together with his family and oligarch friends he runs as a personal feud, into a colony of communist China. How ironic.
Hungarians, wake up and get rid of the despot before it is really too late.
The headline does not marry with the text in the body copy. I am assuming that the use of an exclamation mark rather than a question mark was a typo. There is no definitive production of Sinopharm in Hungary that has been agreed, it is just a discussion at this stage. That said, if it were to be Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna or Janssen manufactured under license in Hungary, that would be a good thing. Sinopharm has a far lesser efficacy than those and such antibody production that it does stimulate wanes much more quickly. Studies have proven this without a shadow of a doubt.
Budapest, Hungary – continues to grow in reputation as being the pivotal location – distribution point – in what is the new and evolving 21st century – of The Silk Road – the meeting of the East & the West – that will and Spreads on, into wider Europe.
This forum has been used numerous times in the past commenting on the DANGERS to Hungary – in relationships that they have choosen to pursue with China.
Hungary – we have been “sucked into – the Chinese rhetoric – there way and style of relationship with Foreign Trading Partners.
The “hole” we have dug for ourselves with China – will be a Disaster, that will in time threaten our Sovereignty.
History never Lies.
The global brand name of China – by its own doing – is “on the nose.”
China – are Jackal like in there Behaviour – circling wearing down its Prey – and then “jump in” step in take over -that permits them Control and Domination.
China – never apologize for there Wrong Doings.
Citizens want to stand to-gether prior to the National Elections in April/May 2022 – an mount a SERIOUS objection campaign against this joint vaccine “Lolly Water” Chinese / Hungary partnership.
Is this a flow on, from when this Government agreed to use this vaccine on the Citizens of Hungary back in 2020 – through the European Union major problems they encountered at that time – with Vaccines ?
The Government of Hungary – signed off on an arrangement on this “Lolly Water” with the Chinese and this is just one of the DEALS – in this on-going partnership that Hungary has entered into with China.
There is much to be “laid out on the table” with Hungary – deals that will cause in all probability – shock & horror, to vast millions of Hungarians.
How DEEP have we been in SOLD out to the Chinese ?
What are the terms and conditions – undertakings given by our Government, that citizens have no knowledge of ?
What is our Indebitedness to China ?
Hungary – it’s Citizens need answers as this Chinese partnership is out of control and Hungary – we will get HURT.
Yes exasperated you are right. Whatever China does is for its own gains ENTIRELY, it does not care in the slightest about Hungary or us, its citizens. Soros on one side and China on the other, one wonders who will win. Both are as bad and evil as each other.
I agree with Yes exasperated, people will do whatever it means to advance their interest. China and Hungary are both working together because it advances their interests. Hungary’s connection with China will help export its products to Asia while China can export products to/import products from the West.
Since Hungary can produce Sinopharm that also means Hungary can close the plant if it doesn’t work. Like, I am not a big fan of China. People need to stop their anti-Chinese/China rhetoric. Why do people paint a negative picture against Sinopharm when the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, which is produced in the US, has also faced negative reactions.
It’s easy to paint other countries as evil to ignore wrongdoings committed by your allies.
